Funds raised are to create a digital archive of Sir James Wordie's unpublished historical and scientific records from the Transantarctic Expedition. These archives will be held in a managed web-based digital archive and as a result, important scientific data sets and historical information from that era will be made accessible for those studying Polar science, history and climate change.
